The Fiona Scarf is a right side only (no purls!) linen stitch piece that lets colours sing! Plan your stripes decisively as per the pattern or, with your scale in hand, use your beautiful scraps to make a unique accessory that can’t be duplicated. The bonus is that linen stitch looks beautiful on either side.
Sizes/Measurements: Finished scarf is 7.5" x 72", not including the fringe. Gauge: 35 sts per 10cm /4” and 50 rows per 10cm/4”. Gauge knitted flat in linen stitch and measured after blocking. Note that gauge is important if yardage is a concern.
Materials: 3.0 mm/US 2.5 circular needle or size to obtain gauge, 125cm/50in length 12 x 20g minis or 640m/700y of any fingering weight yarn Sample: The sample used 12 Firefly Haven Fibre Mabel Sock Minis (80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon), 66m/73y per 20g for a total of 640m/700y Notions: 9 stitch markers, scale (optional), needle stoppers (optional)
